Often, an anaesthetic cream is applied to numb the skin and lip area, although it may be slightly uncomfortable the treatment should not be painful. What To Do After The Treatment?
The affected area may be a bit red, sore and swollen. Any swelling or bruising should settle down in a few days. During the consultation and again during the treatment, you will be given instructions on how to minimise the chance of side effects. This includes refraining from applying make-up right after the treatment.
What Are The Risks?
