Jawline Filler is a type of facial filler used typically on those who have a weakened contour along the jaw edge. This treatment helps to create a more defined jawline and balanced face shape.
What is Jawline Filler?
Jawline Filler is a facial injection which added sculpting to the jawline making it more defined and in some cases, slimming the areas out. The fillers used in this treatment are usually of a high density which allows more structure along the jawline. All the products used in this procedure have a numbing agent in the gel itself, but numbing cream can also be applied if the patient so wishes.
What is the Jawline Filler procedure?
The injections lift the skin helping with volume loss to achieve a more defined contoured jawline.
The most commonly requested face shape amongst women is a naturally V-shaped face and a feminine side profile. Men on the other hand, tend to request a more defined chin and by enhancing their cheeks which results in a more masculine look.
About the Treatment
After talking through your concerns with Dr Hennessy, he will discuss all options with you and what the best treatment would be to achieve the desired results. Jawlines will need between two and five syringes (1ml of filler per syringe), and placement of some of this filler must also be used to add structure to the chin so your profile is in proportion with the new more defined jawline. The appointment can last from 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the treatment the patient is wanting.
